Having previously worked in human risk management startup CultureAI, held a senior security transformation role at BT Group, and spent almost seven years as Head of Security Education for the Bank of England, John is now the owner of Wildpark Security Consultancy, which looks to support organisations in steering and improving their security culture and awareness programmes.
He is a certified instructor for the SANS Institute, teaching classes all around the world on security culture and managing human risk, as well as being an international speaker on security culture change.
John’s key passion is the need for security to be a champion of their colleagues, rather than just being the ‘department of NO’. He ran an internationally recognised culture change programme for the UK’s central bank, and hates the phrase ‘users are the weakest link’.
We were hugely privileged to hear about John’s experiences and passions.
