Matt has almost 20 years’ security experience, including over 10 years in leadership roles across financial services.

Matt began his career with the UK Government, working globally, in a range of security roles. He then moved to the Bank of England, leading on security delivery.

Prior to joining Lloyds Banking Group, Matt held a range of leadership positions at Nationwide, include Chief Security & Resilience Officer, Director of Security, and Head of Cyber Security.

We were hugely privileged to hear about Matt’s experiences and passions, as well as a Group-wide transformation project creating the conditions for an ambitious re-think of how security gets done.
