David has been working in cybersecurity across the public and private sectors for twenty years. Before joining Nationwide, David was the Group Chief Information Security Officer at Camelot Group (operator of the UK National Lottery) and Head of Cyber Security at the Foreign and Commonwealth Office (FCO).

David is a Fellow of the British Computer Society and has helped author a number of national and international security standards.

We were hugely privileged to hear about his career so far, as well as his work towards closing the skills gap and bringing more diversity into Nationwide and the cyber industry in general.
