There is an intricate and evolving landscape of digital and data regulations across the EU and the UK, many of which include cybersecurity obligations. This can be incredibly difficult to understand and respond to, especially for organisations operating internationally.
We previously explored twelve EU and UK digital laws at a high level and offered a critique regarding how well or poorly they intersect. By popular demand, we’ve returned to provide a deeper focus using a smaller selection of digital laws by example.
Our presenters drew upon their combined experience and cover topics such as:
- Understanding how companies are brought into scope of these regulations
- Interpreting and responding to obligations
- Drawing together the collective power of legal, technical, and operational practitioners
- What’s ‘hot’ and coming across their desks at the moment
- What happens if things go wrong
Watch the session recording for a fascinating discussion between a Magic Circle lawyer and a consulting firm partner, as they share client stories and combined experience navigating the legal, technical, and practical aspects of interpreting and implementing digital, data, and cyber laws, including NIS2 and the EU Cyber Resilience Act.
