Women are vital to cybersecurity, bringing unique perspectives, innovative problem-solving, and critical soft skills to the field, helping to address the global talent shortage and improve security strategies. Initiatives like mentorship programs and educational outreach are crucial for attracting and retaining more women in this male-dominated field, ensuring the cybersecurity workforce reflects the diverse population it aims to protect.
The mission of Women in Cybersecurity is to recruit, retain and advance women to build a robust cybersecurity workforce. Its vision is a world where the cybersecurity workforce is an inclusive space.
