Why do people click on malicious links? Proofpoint’s resident CISO for EMEA, Andrew Rose, explains how attackers can still manage to trick our staff into clicking on suspicious content despite investment in education and awareness. He shows examples of attacks and pull apart some of the attackers’ techniques, explaining the models they use and how they seek to influence our users’ behaviour.

The session was interactive and we discussed how these insights can help us change our awareness messaging to increase effectiveness.
