Key to the success of any exercise is engagement from the participants; this means telling a good story and capturing the imagination – this is something which tabletop roleplay games can teach us a lot about!

In this presentation, Isabel took us through the preparation, delivery, and follow-up stages when running a cyber crisis tabletop exercise.

Isabel spoke about buy-in and senior engagement, when to test, who to test, how to build a scenario (or modify one of the free online ones), what to do with the time you have on the day, and how important follow-up and remediation is.
