Cyberattacks may be unavoidable, but our ability to quickly review compromised data for affected data subjects and PII is necessary to comply with the tight reporting deadlines that are required of us… as well as saving our organisation money by cutting down on document analysis time.

Ciarán and Conor joined us to talk through the technology available nowadays, such as PII pattern matching and technology-assisted learning, which can quickly determine the volume and type of data affected and generate reports of those impacted by a breach. Speeding up these processes then allows us to focus on those additional vital steps in our data breach response, such as data subject and client communication, drafting new policies, and revamping our security protocols.

If we’re going to be breached, let’s plan to recover as efficiently as we can.
