SASIG was privileged to offer, for the first time since 2018, the Metropolitan Police Service’s (MPS) unique ‘Decisions & Disruptions’ tabletop exercise in person. We ran two sessions of this immersive experience, but due to its nature, places were strictly limited.

Members used their problem-solving, collaboration, leadership and communication skills to protect their (fictional) company’s reputation, assets and profits.

Teams (mixed at random) competed against each other, with players facing different scenarios based on real-life situations and current security threats. The outcomes and impacts for their ‘company’ were based on the decisions they made. We’re extremely proud of the afternoon team who played a perfect game – only the second team to do so in over 700 games!

In the debrief, everyone was taken through the ‘perfect answer’ and updated on the latest NCSC and MPS cybersecurity guidance. Prizes were awarded to the winning team.

We hope to run this event again in the future, so please keep an eye out if you missed it this time.
