Unlike traditional security measures that primarily rely on automated tools and predefined rules, threat hunting involves skilled human analysts who leverage their expertise to identify subtle and advanced threats that may evade automated detection. It is a proactive cybersecurity practice focused on actively and iteratively searching for signs of malicious activity within a network or system. By taking a proactive stance, threat hunting aims to identify and neutralise threats before they can escalate, providing a critical layer of defence in today’s complex and dynamic cybersecurity landscape.

Watch now as we revealed how threat hunters employ a combination of advanced analytics, behavioural analysis, and contextual understanding of the organisation’s environment to uncover anomalies, potential vulnerabilities, and signs of compromise.
