In our latest event with the University of Surrey’s Centre for Cyber Security, we will bring together leading industry experts and academics to discuss how we can integrate ethical considerations into cybersecurity practices to create a more secure and just digital world. We’ll consider the action needed from technologists, policymakers, ethicists, and the public alike. Because each of us has a role to play in navigating the complex landscape of cybersecurity ethics and promoting ethical practices.
As our world becomes increasingly digitised, the importance of cybersecurity has grown exponentially. However, with this growth comes a host of ethical dilemmas that must be urgently addressed. Failure to do so could lead to technological advancements compromising moral and societal values, and potentially result in severe consequences. Join us as we discuss how the world can balance the need for security with respect for privacy, individual rights, and the broader impact on society.
This event is open to all front-line cybersecurity professionals as well as SASIG members.
