Generative artificial intelligence (GenAI) helps developers save time and increase speed to market with new software, but the code that these tools effortlessly produce can result in vulnerabilities that leave organisations exposed to attacks. How can we as cyber leaders adequately prepare our people to harness the benefits of GenAI while limiting the risks?

In this talk, Immersive Labs’ Principal Application Security SME, Chris Wood, provided effective strategies for empowering developer and security teams with the knowledge, skills, and judgment they need to limit the risk of insecure AI-generated code. Chris showcased a modern, data-driven approach to building and proving the cyber capabilities necessary to shift left and prevent devastating breaches.
