There is no charge to attend any SASIG event.
We all learn from the constant stream of small setbacks and successes that are our daily lives at home and at work. No great success was ever achieved without failure. Whether we like it or not, failure is a necessary stepping stone to success. Unfortunately, in the cyber world failure tends to be very public and success is hidden from sight. And while failure in our world isn’t always fatal to our business, failure to learn and failure to change might very well be.

At this meeting we will examine this fascinating topic. How do we in the cybersecurity space learn from failure? How do we promote a no-blame culture and growth mind-set that encourages staff to declare near-misses so that we may learn from them? How do we communicate success to others so that they too may share in our good fortune? Can we “crowd source” good ideas and successful solutions? Can we energise and improve, not just repeat and reinvent?
