We investigate the current risks that are associated with more people using online systems in business and for personal affairs than ever before. While the trend of doing business online was already rising, the uptake of this type of activity has grown exponentially in recent months. It’s now more important than ever for companies and individuals to remain vigilant about their online security, as we see cyber criminals take advantage of these Covid‐19 times.
As part of this, we will explore Kaspersky’s latest Spam and Phishing report, as well as their Financial Cyberthreats report, which illustrates just how much the rates of malware and phishing scams are increasing. This promises to be an illuminating session.
