This academic talk introduces the Resiliency Quad, a research-driven framework for understanding personal resilience as an integrated system rather than a single trait. The model comprises four interdependent quadrants – physical, emotional, technological and developmental – each of which must be intentionally nurtured to support sustained engagement and performance in everyday life.

Drawing on their research, the talk demonstrates how resilience transcends gender, age and ethnicity, and why neglecting any one quadrant undermines the whole. We’ll gain a conceptual and applied understanding of how balanced investment across the quad enables individuals to consistently bring their full capacities to daily demands.
