Security teams are under pressure from every direction. Audit demands continue to grow, evidence requests are increasing, supplier assurance requirements are expanding, and regulatory expectations are becoming more complex. While compliance remains a critical part of any security programme, many organisations are beginning to challenge a long-held assumption of whether successfully passing an audit actually translates into greater resilience and operational readiness.
In this session, we’ll explore the relationship between compliance and real-world security outcomes. We examine where audit-driven operating models deliver value, where they can create a false sense of confidence, and why meeting regulatory requirements alone may not be enough to withstand today’s threats.
Through practical examples and industry insight, we will discuss how mature security leaders are strengthening resilience by connecting compliance activity to effective controls, supplier risk management, incident response capabilities, accountability and continuous improvement.
So join us as we learn how to move beyond compliance as a checkbox exercise and build a security programme that is both audit-ready and truly resilient.
