On a phone the employee owns, security has to decide how far to go: how much to see, and what to deliberately leave alone. Protecting corporate data without taking over someone’s personal device is the balance every mobile BYOD programme has to find, and it’s easy to get wrong in either direction.
At Jamf we run a mobile BYOD programme ourselves, and we see how they hold up across the organisations we work with. This session draws on both: the calls we made early, the ones we got wrong, what we chose not to collect and why, and where programmes tend to strain as they grow. Whether you’re starting out or tightening something already running, you’ll leave with specific decisions to take back to your organisation
