Edward Wilding is a highly experienced computer fraud investigation, digital forensics and information-risk specialist with more than thirty years’ expertise in investigating fraud, data theft, IT sabotage and technology misuse. His work spans several hundred investigations, expert-witness appointments in criminal, civil, employment and official proceedings, and advisory roles for courts, litigators, barristers, banks, investment houses, multinational companies and government agencies.

He is recognised for influential contributions to computer forensic practice, including the books Computer Evidence: A Forensic Investigations Handbook and Information Risk and Security: Preventing and Investigating Workplace Computer Crime. He was the first editor of Virus Bulletin, helped establish its international conferences and VB100 anti-virus detection awards, and co-founded Data Genetics International Limited, which became a leading forensic investigation resource for major law firms and corporate clients. His expertise is regularly sought by BBC radio and television, Sky TV and specialist publications, reinforcing his standing as a respected authority on computer crime, workplace fraud and digital evidence.
