Security professionals often find themselves frustrated as attackers (ranging from the commodity ransomware groups, up to the next SolarWinds) seem to have it way too easy. Even when equipped with the best of breed ‘security weapons’, and the best trained people, attacks often go undetected.
The main reason is that security teams are too busy treating symptoms instead of root causes.
In this talk, we explain these symptoms, what they are and why they don’t actually mitigate the true causes of security breaches – mainly, excessive network access.
We discuss how a Least Privilege Network stance mitigates the root cause of most attacks, and how it can be scaled to protect any resource (on premise or in cloud).
