There’s a lot more to blockchain than bitcoin and cryptocurrencies, and many of its potential implementations are yet to be utilised. In this session, we assess the potential for blockchain technologies beyond cryptocurrency and NFTs (non-fungible tokens).
This is the second in our blockchain series, but don’t worry if you missed the first session. We began with a brief overview of what blockchain is, beyond the commonly used but not very useful description of ‘a distributed ledger of transactions’. A recording of Blockchain 101 is available for members here.
We also examined some potential uses for blockchain technology including logistics tracking, smart contracts and the incredible benefits blockchain offers for availability and integrity of data.
