The largest global cybersecurity benchmarking study ‘Cybersecurity solutions for a riskier world’ identifies automation as one of 10 best practices to turbo-boost cybersecurity performance.
Automation can be applied to every stage of cybersecurity, including visualising the attack surface, cyber risk quantification, identifying and remediating vulnerabilities, policy compliance, and change management. Some types of analysis, such as exposure analysis, are so complex that they would be effectively impossible without automation.
By automating these processes, advanced solutions can reduce the time to identify and mitigate risks and shrink the window of exposure.
The benchmarking study explains: “Automation helps to deliver better results: it reduces mundane work, drives efficiencies, frees up staff, and enables a more blanket approach to cybersecurity: fighting machines with machines.”
This webinar demonstrated how you can:
- Reduce the risk of misconfigurations and policy violations by modelling changes prior to provisioning
- Maintain business resilience by achieving higher accuracy in change control processes
- Improve compliance posture and avoid the costs of a failed audit
