The UK Cyber 9/12 Strategy Challenge is an annual competition for university students, run by the cybersecurity community and designed to foster the next generation of cyber policy and strategy leaders. With help from an academic coach, teams of four compete in developing national security policy recommendations that tackle an escalating (fictional) cyber crisis.
Rob Black, the challenge’s Director, and some previous competitors joined us and introduced the competition, reflected on their experience, and explained how you can get involved: Students can enter to compete, industry professionals can volunteer their time as a mentor or judge, and organisations can partner with the competition.
Watch now to see Rob and the students learn how the Cyber 9/12 Strategy Challenge empowers future cybersecurity professionals to become leaders, and what we can all do to support the competition.
