Since the publication of the 2016 pioneering National Cyber Security Strategy, the UK has consistently been world-leading in making the country one of the most secure and attractive digital economies to live, do business and invest in. The UK media sector is committed to supporting the cyberspace strategy in ensuring it delivers a reliable and resilient place for people and enterprises of all sizes to trust in the secure services being delivered. The achievements so far are exemplary, the media sector plans to embrace innovation in cyber technology to boost our national prosperity and strategic advantages are being delivered by the cybersecurity industry.

But there remains some significant confusion out there in UK plc. It is clear from SASIG members’ reactions that CISOs and their teams too often still do not fully appreciate or adequately use the astonishing range of available cybersecurity services and resources provided by the various UK resources. The aim of this Summit was for delegates to understand better who does what and what their respective remits are, how they align/ synchronise with each other, and how their services and resources can be accessed and used by enterprises of all sizes and sectors, public and private.

No recording of the day’s proceedings will be available.
