This session, the first in a proposed series of regular SASIG networking meetings, will facilitate informal discussions between SASIG members based on a topical theme. We can’t meet each other in person, so let’s have an online chat instead while helping to keep the SASIG community alive. If this one works, we’ll do more, so please support it.

Julia Finch is Director of Skills for the Future at a British multinational bank, and has a background in strategic planning, transformation, leadership, people development and cultural change. She will pose us all the question: “If Covid-19 magically disappeared overnight, what changes would you choose to make in your life (at home and at work) compared with pre-Covid?” and describe some of the responses she’s already received from her LinkedIn post on this. We will then break out into virtual ‘tables’, with nine participants on each, and a nominated leader to initiate introductions and stimulate conversation. Here, you can make your five new friends that SASIG events are well-known for. We will all come back together at the end to review these various discussions.

This meeting will be restricted to SASIG members only, with registration closing an hour beforehand at 10am on Friday 17 July 2020. The Chatham House Rule will apply.
