At this SASIG workshop, we will explore managing the security of health and care information amongst different social care providers. This will include how it can be tailored to address the specific security requirements of fragmented social care services, across both the public and private sectors. Through the care provider sector collaborating to showcase recent research and case studies around the development of technology within the care service, we hope to demonstrate how those responsible for safeguarding patient information can pragmatically manage the security of health and care information. We aim to then progress the conversation on what more work needs to be done in further securing the transfer of sensitive patient information.
