In October 2017, Paul was appointed to a newly created role in the Operational Risk Management Group to lead and oversee the second line technology/ cyber risk function, with additional responsibility for data and project management risk. Based in the US, he reports to Citi’s Head of Operational Risk Management. Previously, Paul was Chief Risk and Compliance Officer for Bloomberg, and has held a range of other senior security and risk appointments at Bridgewater Associates, Aviva, UBS and CAA/NATS.

Paul is active in promoting equality and LGBT issues in the workplace. He is listed in the FT Top 100 Out LGBT business leaders in 2014/15 and #15 in 2016. He is also a renowned speaker and board advisor on cyber and operational risk. We will be privileged to hear his story and learn of his work at the highest echelons of corporate cybersecurity in the US.
