Threat intelligence is critical to proactively disrupting our adversaries. It looks beyond the horizon to anticipate where attacks will come from rather than waiting until they appear at our walls. Such actionable information about potential cyberattacks, threats, and threat actors provides context and insights into attackers’ motives, methods, and targets. It allows security teams to make better decisions and automate responses. It shifts security from being reactive to proactive.
Cybercriminals are proliferating, professionalising and collaborating with each other with increasing efficiency and ambition. With nation-state-funded cybercrime, constantly evolving ransomware gangs, and new vulnerabilities popping up daily, we must remain aware of where our focus is most required.
At this event, we explore how we can keep track of all these threats, recognise which are relevant to our business and prioritise our defences accordingly. Furthermore, how can we democratise threat intelligence services so that they are available to all organisations regardless of size or resources, and not purely the reserve of those enterprises with deep enough pockets.
