Migrating data is risky. Particularly when it’s unstructured. Often it’s been tucked away, hidden and forgotten in an on-premise store. Unknown, unsecured and chock-full of personally identifiable information (PII) that no-one knows about.

When sensitive data is in motion during a migration, it becomes dangerous, both in transition, but also once it’s in the cloud because it can now be found, regardless of whether the cloud is hybrid, public or private.
