Security awareness teaches things. Metrics measure things. However, many awareness programmes struggle to get useful and reliable metrics for their programmes.
By rethinking what we want to get out of metrics and how we can get them, it is possible to generate reliable, useful, and meaningful metrics.
When we focus on the fundamental goals of education and behaviour change, we can get the answers to questions we can’t ask, and design questions that people want to answer.
Rebecca showed us how to identify what we really want to know when training people – and how to measure it.
