There is no charge to attend any SASIG event.

The EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) came into force in May 2018. Every organisation has already been affected by the significant changes introduced by this new legislation. Brexit isn’t going to alter anything; there’s no hiding place.

But how are we doing, folks? What else needs to be done to ensure our compliance? What are others doing in comparison? In this workshop we will be drawing on the support and expertise of some of the UK’s leading experts and authorities on GDPR and we will hear from several major organisations about their progress to date.

This is a packed agenda – we make no excuses, there is a lot to cover and this will not be a restful day! Where possible, we hope that several attendees will come from each organisation – security managers accompanied by their legal, HR, privacy, procurement and supply colleagues etc. We know that this combination generates energised and productive discussions and leads to better learning.

We are most grateful to The National Archives for hosting this workshop. All SASIG events operate under the Chatham House Rule and there is no charge to attend. Refreshments will be provided by SASIG.
