Privacy and security are clearly closely related, and they often intersect in a connected world. But they aren’t the same thing. Privacy relates to any rights you have to control your personal information and how it’s used; security refers to how all information is protected. In this debate, we consider what each role does, the differences and touchpoints from the DPO and CISO hilltops, and their working relationship.
