Managers, security specialists, IT staff, and other professionals often complain that employees, customers, and users are stupid. But are they? Rather than accuse someone in your organisation of being stupid, instead identify and adjust your own failings in employment and training practices, as well as the processes and technologies that enable the behaviours you are critical of.
Ira is considered one of the world’s most influential security professionals. He began his career at the National Security Agency (NSA) and has since held other positions supporting the cybersecurity and risk management programmes in organisations of all sizes. He has written widely on, and speaks around the world about, cybersecurity, risk management, loss mitigation, and the human aspects of security and technology.
His latest book ‘You Can Stop Stupid’ will be released this December and is available for pre-order here.
